Break

It’s been a long time now since I have posted my last journal entry. Sorry for my readers but I needed a break to find new inspirations. Today I am happy to be back with you and sad as if I step back and think about what happened the last few weeks, we can say that the landscape is rather depressing. We have had the terrorist attack on Christmas day, the earthquake in Haiti with its endless list of victims, February has been marked by the alarming situation in Afghanistan where it remains a tough challenge for the Afghans and coalition troops to find the path that will definitely eradicate Taliban presence and this morning we started the day by an alarming email from one of our friend living in Chili who escaped to the Earthquake of 7.5 on the Richter scale and phone calls from France saying their area has been devastated by a storm.

What else to add to all of that? Everything is said. We are living in an unpredictable world, constantly under the threat of a terrorist attack or the risk of another event where you or your family or friend can loose the life. Besides this cruel worldwide reality, ‘’normal’’ life continues and we have all follow up the Vancouver games with the hope to escape the chaotic world influence. But here again, the opening ceremony was clouded by the death of the Georgian luger just some hours ago during a training session.

Sorry if I have been of bad company today but this is the frame of mind I am at the moment and I would be curious to know how you feel with all these events happening around us and would be ;ore than happy to get your opinion on this blog.
